Standard Kitchen Cabinet Sizes.

US kitchen cabinets follow standard sizing conventions that determine how appliances integrate, how the kitchen reads visually, and what custom work is needed when openings or appliances do not align. Standard base cabinet height is 34.5 inches (36 inches with countertop). Standard depth is 24 inches. Widths come in 3-inch increments from 9 to 48 inches. Wall cabinets, tall cabinets, and drawer bases have their own standards.
