Sliding Shower Doors

A sliding shower door uses panels that glide along a track instead of swinging open, so it needs no clearance in front of the shower. It suits a tub-shower or an alcove where a swing door would hit the toilet, vanity, or wall. Crateworks builds sliding shower doors in slim aluminum tracks to your opening.

Best for: Tub-showers and tight bathrooms where there is no room for a door to swing outward.

Common questions

When should you choose a sliding shower door?
Choose a sliding shower door when there is not enough clear floor in front of the shower for a swinging door, which is common over a tub or in a small bathroom. The panels move along a track within the opening, so they never swing into the room.
Do sliding shower doors leak?
A well-built sliding door controls water with overlapping panels and seals along the track and edges. Some splash management at the join is normal for any sliding system. We specify the seals and overlap for your opening to keep water in the enclosure.
