Casement windows

Side-hinged sashes that crank outward for full top-to-bottom ventilation and a clean, flush face when closed.

Double-hung windows

Two sashes that slide vertically so you can open top, bottom, or both for balanced airflow. The classic replacement look.

Top-hinged sashes that crank outward like an awning, shedding rain off the glass while they vent. Miami-Dade NOA approved for FL HVHZ.

Aluminum windows are a strong fit for both new construction and renovation projects. The thermally-broken frame is slim and rigid, holds large panes of glass, and does not rot, warp, or rust. Crateworks builds each window to your opening size.

Yes. Casement, tilt-turn, fixed-picture, awning, and arc-top configurations are NFRC certified. Awning is also Miami-Dade NOA approved for HVHZ (large + small missile impact, expires 2030-12-24). CSA A440-22 #80224506 is on file for cold-climate Canadian projects. AAMA 2605 PVDF finish, 20-year coating warranty. Cert IDs are disclosed on every quote. Double-hung, bay, transom, and pass-through configurations are positioned for renovation and replacement while we close out additional certification.

A thermal break is an insulating barrier set inside the aluminum frame that separates the outside metal from the inside metal. It slows heat transfer through the frame, so the window performs far better than a plain aluminum unit in both hot and cold weather.

Yes. Frame colors are specified by RAL number, the same way an architect calls them out on a drawing. Tell us the RAL and we build to it.
